At what age can autistic spectrum symptoms be fairly obvious? Seems like most children do not get diagnosed until after age 3. How much earlier can it reliably be diagnosed?

Answer: Between 6 months to 12 months many of the “red flags” are clearly obvious. That’s why it is so important to get screenings of all children.

I know a 6 month old german shep that in less than 2 weeks has now eaten two phones — one Blackberry smart phone and one cheap-oo type. He does not seem to be particular as to how expensive they are. Those buttons do attract him!!
