Prof  wishes her  black sons away.Not safe in America to be a young, black male.

Kids don’t belong to their parents,  prof says.    

Concerning the Zimmerman acquittal in the Travon Martin slaying,   Tulane University political science professor Melissa Harris-Perry made headlines.

Prof wishes concerning her unborn child. She shared that she felt relief that the ultrasound showed she was carrying a girl and not a boy. She made the  public statement that,

We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents”  

The prof wish that  she did not have sons because of the Zimmerman verdict. “Last night, I thought, I live in a country that makes me wish my sons away. I wish that they donâ€t exist, because itâ€s not safe.”

Firenze Sage:  Well, if they don’t belong to you  it’s a short step to disappearing them.
