War is war.
Russia illegally annexed Crimea which change international borders for first time since Cold War ended.
Russia is on the offensive.
What Russia did was not defensive in nature. Russia used regular and covert forces and  unbadged “little green men” to conduct unconventional warfare.  They took territory and de-stabilized a country.
America cannot afford to sit idly on the side lines.
Russia  has moved and positioned  Russian forces to shape the crises. And now  today a Russian missle has shot down a commercial airliner carrying roughly 400 passengers including 23 Americans.
What to do?
Put  immediate sanctions in place  that are much stronger than anything to date.  War is war.
Used economic weapons and hit hard. Â Hit Russia where it hurts economically.
