Only 5% of The Clinton Foundation money actually goes towards charitable work.
But the Foundation “spins’ the story differently.  Below is an email from WikiLeaks  first drafted by Bill Clinton and then changed by John Podesta.
The Foundation does NOT improve the lives of millions of people.  The Foundation enriches the Clintons  — Hilary, Bill and daughter.

Contributions are made because of a strong belief that the Foundation’s programs improve the lives of millions of people around the globe, whether through strengthening health systems, increasing access to lifesaving medicines, helping communities confront the effects of climate change, creating economic opportunity and reducing childhood obesity and other preventable diseases. The Clinton Foundation has a record of integrity and transparency that goes above what is required of U.S. charities and beyond the practices of most peer organizations. This includes the voluntary disclosure of contributions on the Foundation’s website. Should Secretary Clinton decide to run for office, we will continue to ensure the Foundation’s policies and practices regarding support from international partners is appropriate, just as we did when she served as Secretary of State.â€
