Let’s require paid protesters to say on their signs who paid for their time and signs?

Time for truth in paid for political organizing?

Remember all those thousands of  people that suddenly appeared at airports right after the first ban on various people entering the USA? Those people did not spontaneously show up at airports.  They were paid.

So what if protesters are paid?  The Washington Post defends it.march for science

Its one thing to pay people. It’s another thing to hide that they are paid to do job.

One of  the organizers of paid protests supportive of  Obama and Clinton  is Robert Creamer.  Robert Creamer is a buddy of Obama, visited the White House many times and spoke with him 40-50 times.    “Creamer is a longtime Alinskyite activist and a leader in Obama’s old community organizing network. Creamer was a key figure in the work of Chicago’s community organizer training center, the Midwest Academy, to which Obama had close ties. I write extensively about the hard-left ideology and hardball tactics of the Midwest Academy, and Creamer’s role at the center of it all, in my political biography of President Obama, Radical-in-Chief (see Chapter 5, esp. 144-45; 186-88).”  Read more at: http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/441270/alinskyite-tactics-robert-creamer-and-us-project-veritas

new mental disorder created by San Francisco federal judge to protect Sanctuary cities

Pre-enactment anxiety caused by Trump.   sanctuary citiesIrreparable harm to sanctuary cities caused by Trump threatening to enforce existing laws on the  books concerning immigration.  That’s what a San Francisco judge ruled.

Pre-enactment anxiety disorder. What in the world is that? It’s not in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder (DSM 5).    That ‘s the newly minted  mental disorder which  San Francisco and Santa Clara are said to  suffer from says federal judge Orrick  in defense of his stay of Trump’s executive order to enforce existing laws regarding immigration.

Just the thought of withholding money to Sanctuary cities who refuse to cooperate with federal immigration causes such anxiety that San Francisco and Santa Clara county are harmed so says judge Orrick.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A federal judge on Tuesday blocked any attempt by the Trump administration to withhold funding from “sanctuary cities” that do not cooperate with U.S. immigration authorities, saying the president has no authority to attach new conditions to federal spending.

U.S. District Judge William Orrick issued the preliminary injunction in two lawsuits — one brought by the city of San Francisco, the other by Santa Clara County — against an executive order targeting communities that protect immigrants from deportation.

That uncertainty was a central focus of the arguments in the case, as well. At a hearing earlier this month, attorneys for the Justice Department offered a far narrower interpretation of the order than Trump, saying it would only apply to jurisdictions that refuse to share citizenship information as required by law, and that it would apply to only three federal grants from the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security that require compliance as a pre-condition.
Orrick was skeptical of that interpretation.
Liberals are mimicking conservatives by asking a single federal judge to issue a nationwide order against the administration.

That’s exactly what conservative states did two years ago when they asked a federal judge in Brownsville, Texas, to block Obama’s plan to defer deportation for 4 million undocumented immigrants. The judge, Andrew Hanen, did just that, issuing a nationwide order that ultimately was upheld by an evenly split Supreme Court.

The Obama administration decried the reach of Hanen’s order, calling it “drastically overbroad” in a 2015 court filing.

Now it’s conservatives who are protesting use of the tactic. When a federal judge in Hawaii said last month that Trump couldn’t block travel from a group of predominantly Muslim countries, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he was “amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific” could block the president’s policy.

What 61K gets: Middlebury College prof apologizes to rioters

charles murrayWhat  a 61 K per year education  gets you.   Middlebury College seems dead-set on adhering to social justice norms by apologizing for the violence that occurred when social scientist Charles Murray came to speak—not apologizing to Murray, the professor rioters injured, or the students who wanted to hear Murray’s speech, but to the rioters who shut it all down.

bert johnson chiarIn a post for The Middlebury Campus, Bert Johnson, chair of the school’s political science department and an associate professor, apologized to the students who were upset over Murray’s invitation, writing that he should have consulted with dissenting students before co-sponsoring the event.

“The short amount of time between when the event became public and when it occurred gave all of us scant opportunity to listen to and understand alternative points of view,” Johnson wrote. “Most importantly, and to my deep regret, it contributed to a feeling of voicelessness that many already experience on this campus, and it contributed to the very real pain that many people – particularly people of color – have felt as a result of this event.”
Charles Murray is the W.H. Brady scholar at the American Enterprise Institute. He first came to national attention in 1984 with the publication of Losing Ground, which has been credited as the intellectual foundation for the Welfare Reform Act of 1996. His 1994 book, The Bell Curve, co-authored with the late Richard Herrnstein, sparked controversy for its analysis of the role of IQ in shaping America’s class structure. Murray’s other books include What It Means to Be a Libertarian (1997), Human Accomplishment (2003), In Our Hands (2006), Real Education (2008) and Coming Apart (2012). His most recent book, By the People: Rebuilding Liberty Without Permission. urges Americans to stem governmental overreach and use America’s unique civil society to put government back in its place.

test for migrants to Australia: questions on female genital mutilation…

female genital cutting Freedom to protect a country’s values?  That’s what Australia is doing.

Australia recently  broadened the test migrants must pass.    The new  test  gauges a migrant’s attitude towards “Australian values”. The new  test includes questions about child marriage, female genital mutilation and domestic violence.

Recently in Sidney a man wearing a Christian cross was beaten and had his cross taken from him by a group of Muslim men and women.  Is it time for countries to defend their values?

trashing Christian crosses: time for Muhammad to take a hike?

take a hikeHide your cross, Christians?

Or time to tell Muhammad to take a hike?

Christians in Sydney, Australia, are being advised to hide their crosses after an Arabic-speaking gang shouting “F*** Jesus!” attacked a couple on a train while transport officers looked on from a “safe space” and did nothing.

The Sydney-based Daily Telegraph – a News Corp outlet unrelated to the Telegraph Media Group newspaper of the same name – reports the couple were attacked while riding the train through “Muslim enclaves” in south-west Sydney.

Mike, who asked for his surname to be withheld for fear he might be targeted, said that four men of Middle Eastern appearance ripped his cross from his neck, stomped on it, and rained kicks and punches on his face, back, and shoulders. Two women attacked his girlfriend when she tried to protect him.

Five uniformed transport officers watched the attack take place but failed to intervene, Mike claimed, leaving the police to meet the train at a later station.

“I was born in Australia of Greek heritage,” Mike told the Telegraph. “I’ve always worn my cross. For [them] to rip it off and step on it has to be a religious crime.

Susan Rice not so nice? Bengazi video & now “un-masking” Americans?

San Francisco Library: how about a first edition syringe?

librarySan Francisco library  trains staff  to handle persons who overdose on drugs.

library trains staff how handle overdoses

In addition to checking out and re-shelving books, San Francisco library staffers may soon be trained to give lifesaving medication to reverse overdoses among the growing number of heroin users mixing in with the homeless in and around the Main Library.

The idea surfaced after an addict was found dead in one of the Civic Center library’s restrooms in early February.

San Francisco’s Main Library has become a magnet for the city’s exploding homeless population. Coincidentally or not, the neighborhood has seen epidemic numbers of users of heroin and prescription painkillers – opioids such as codeine, morphine and OxyContin.

In 2016, the Main Library tracked 689 instances of patron misbehavior, ranging from vandalism and altercations to verbal disturbances and drug use[.]

… San Francisco has taken a compassionate approach when dealing with the problem, offering both free and unlimited access to syringes.

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexicans who help build U.S. President Donald Trump’s planned border wall would be acting immorally and should be deemed traitors, the Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico said on Sunday, turning up the heat on a simmering dispute over the project.

In a provocative editorial, the country’s biggest Archdiocese sought to increase pressure on the government to take a tougher line on companies aiming to profit from the wall, which has strained relations between Trump and the Mexican government.

“Any company intending to invest in the wall of the fanatic Trump would be immoral, but above all, its shareholders and owners should be considered traitors to the homeland,” said the editorial in Desde la fe, the Archdiocese’s weekly publication.

On Tuesday, Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo warned firms it would not be in their “interests” to participate in the wall. But the editorial accused the government of responding “tepidly” to those eyeing the project for business.

A spokesman for the Archdiocese, which centers on Mexico City and is presided over by the country’s foremost Roman Catholic cleric, Cardinal Norberto Rivera, said the editorial represented the views of the diocese.

Mexico- Complicit Cardinal named to new Vatican council, SNAP responds

For immediate release: March 10, 2014

Statement by David Clohessy of St. Louis, national director of SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (314 566 9790 cell, 314 645 5915 home)

Mexico City’s corrupt Cardinal Norberto Rivera Carrera is one of 15 individuals named to Pope Francis’ new “Council for the Economy.” We are disappointed in this choice.

http://www.catholicculture.org/news/headlines/index.cfm?storyid=20722

“For decades now, pedophile priests and complicit bishops have been – and still are – the biggest crisis the church has faced in modern times. And in this on-going scandal, Rivera Carrera’s record – in Mexico – is terrible.

As long as the Vatican continues to promote bishops who covered up clergy child sexual abuse, Catholics can expect more kids to be hurt and more sex crimes to be committed.
“In 2013, we named Rivera Carrera as one of the dirty dozen for a papal choice. Our view of him has not changed.

http://www.snapnetwork.org/snap_s_dirty_dozen_list_the_papabile_who_would_be_the_worst_choice_for_children

“In 2007, Rivera Carrera worked to prevent a prolific predator priest from facing justice. He was accused of concealing the dreadful child sex crimes of Fr. Nicholas Aguilar Rivera. The Cardinal did virtually nothing while Fr. Aguilar Rivera traveled between his native Mexico and the Los Angeles archdiocese, molesting kids in both places. Aguilar Rivera’s current whereabouts are unknown and is on Mexico’s most wanted criminal list.

http://www.bishop-accountability.org/mexico/docs/aguilar/

“Rivera Carrera has blamed the media for “attacks on the church,” alleging “over-reporting” of church sex cases.

http://www.natcath.org/crisis/071902g.htm

Rivera Carrera  also made the ridiculous claim that there are no “documented” cases of abuse against minors in Mexico.

“It is disturbing that a cardinal who has been charged with covering up the crimes of a child molester, who is completely out of touch with the realities of child sex crimes, and who has not stepped up to the plate to help victims and protect kids is on a another Vatican council.

remember Kate Steinley killed by 5 time deported felon

sanctuary-city-san-franciscoRemember Kate Steinley shot in the back and  killed   in the sanctuary city of San Francisco by  five time deported illegal felon Lopez, a Mexican natonal   with multiple  convictions?

The man who murdered  Kate Steinley  was released from  jail  by the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department and not turned over to federal authorities.

A February 2017  poll shows that Trump has broad public support in his effort to crack down on sanctuary cities.

A recent Harvard-Harris Poll shows  that 80 percent  of voters say  that local authorities should comply with the law by reporting to federal agents the illegal immigrants they come in contact with.

Cities that arrest illegal immigrants for crimes should be required to turn them over to federal authorities

Sanctuary cities receive $2.27 BILLION in federal programs.

A safety issue:   Trump re-framed the issue from a partisan battle to a duty owed to the American people: “When it comes to public safety, there is no place for politics; no Republicans, no Democrats, just citizens, and good citizens,” he said. “We want safe communities. We demand safe communities for everyone.” Voters will want to know why their mayor sides with the illegal alien killer over a victimized American family.

About 300 sanctuary city jurisdictions operate in the U.S. where state or local officials refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement officers and make it difficult for them to apprehend illegal aliens caught committing a crime.

Santa Cruz CA is a sanctuary city. Law enforcement officials in Santa Cruz claim that the community is safer by not reporting illegal immigrants to federal authorities. Recently 13 members of  M-13 gang were arrested in Santa Cruz by federal  authorities in cooperation with local authorities.

The Trump plan includes an expansion of the “287(g) program” — named for the section of federal immigration law that enables DHS to deputize state and local law-enforcement officers to enforce the laws as if they were federal immigration agents.

LA: bad dudes from 12 countries arrested for deportation

LA: bad dudes from 12 countries arrested by ICE
Illegal immigration: Over 700 arrested  by ICE

Illegal immigration:  The travel plans of over 700 were disrupted  this last week by ICE.

In LA, bad dudes — largely felons —  from 12 countries  were arrested by federal government on immigration violations.

These are bad men, largely felons:   Of the 160 arrested in Los Angeles, CA about 150 had criminal histories, while five more had either been previously deported or had “final orders of removal”. Many of those arrested had prior felony convictions for “serious or violent offenses” including child sex crimes and assault.

The arrestees in the LA area  – which were 95 percent male – included nationals from a dozen countries, according to ICE.

Across the USA over 700 arrests were made:

Interesting development:  Mexico urges illegals to fight deportation via the court system.

In Mexico, influential Mexicans want illegals to go overwhelm the USA legal system via the court system.
