New scientific data why CA must open schools & businesses now for health of all CA residents

flu kills similiar to COVID 19

Flu kills and we don’t lock up healthy people  in their homes to prevent flu.  Numbers support that COVID-19 kills very few people.   Millions infected and few die.

Now — not in weeks or months hence — CA must open the schools and businesses and do so for the overall  health and  general well being of all Ca residents and  citizens.    Social distancing and sheltering at home reduce people’s immune system and result in many  harmful secondary effects. So says Dr. Erickson of Kern County, CA.

You Tube has taken down the video by Dr. Erickson.   It is available on AIR.TV.  Below is what YouTube would allow posted.

Ask hard questions of your County Health officers.   How many people  have you  tested? How many positive for COVID-19?   What is the death rate?  Is the death rate similar to that of flu?  Why impose draconian measures for COVID-19 which has a similar death rate as flu?     Is this county seeing more domestic violence, more child abuse, more suicide?  Why is it OK to go to COSCO and mingle and not able to go to a pizza parlor or to church?     Why  does this county in CA lock up healthy people which reduces their   immune system and destroys their livelihoods?

Never before has USA locked the healthy in their homes and now is the  time to stop says Dr. Erickson, Kern County  California  MD who tests the majority of persons in  Kern County for Corona virus.

It’s time now  to open the schools, small businesses and put people who test negative back to work. Yes, test people.  And there is the capacity  in CA to test as many as need it.  Finger stick tests can give near immediate results.  Look at what Kern County has done.  All CA can do likewise.

Secondary effects — people not going to their  doctors because of fear contracting COVID-19  and  thereby not caring for serious medical conditions, child abuse, domestic abuse and suicide are all spiking.    These secondary effects   will harm society in ways that will affect many people’s lives for years to come.

Dr.Erickson’s conclusions:  COVID-19 similar to the common flu  infects  thousand  but  kills relatively few.      Repeat:   thousands are infected  from Corona virus from the virus but few die.   Every year 35- 60 thousand die from flu every year in the USA.   Yet we don’t lock healthy people in their home to prevent them from getting flu.

Dr. Erickson’s clinics test the majority of persons tested in Kern County, CA.

Dr. Erickson says that it’s time for healthy people to stop ‘sheltering in place’  and stop wearing masks as these measures  reduce the body’s  immune system. By touching hand to face and mouth people routinely take in bacteria which the body responds to and  over time these actions strengthen the overall  immune system.  People who clean all home surfaces and wear masks outside are reducing the ability of the body to take in bacteria and strengthen their immune systems.

What about the “expert” Dr. Fauchi who predicted millions would die based on his theoretical models?   Dr. Fauchi, an academic, and has not seen a real patient in  20 years.  Dr. Fauchi’s models are theoretical models — not  based on actual  hard data.    Now we have the data.   And the data says clearly it’s time now  to open the schools and open small businesses. Let people who test negative to go back to work.  Let those without symptoms go back to work.  Yes, those with underlying medical conditions especially respiratory ones  many need to wear masks and gloves.  Not the general public.

Kern County data:   Dr. Erickson tested 5,213 with 313 positive for COVID-19.   6.5% of the population tested.  These numbers are similar to flu:  widespread infection and few deaths.

In California, there have been 280K tested of a population of 35 million with a 12% positive rate.  In CA the possibility of dying from the virus is 0.03.  97% of persons in CA recover without any long term problems.   Kern County CA  has a 6.5 percent and CA has a 12.5 percent rate of infection.

As the prevalence rate goes u the death rate gets smaller and smaller.  Millions cases and a small number of deaths is the overall pattern.

Dr. Erickson examined the hard numbers for New York state, Spain, Norway and Sweden.  The same pattern prevailed.   In New York state, 39% of those tested were positive for COVID-19 with a 92% recovery rate and a 0.1% chance of dying.   In Spain — which is #2 in the race for most cases — 940,000 were tested with a 22% rate of positive infections, with a o.05 death rate.  Sweden did not lock down and Norway did.  They had similar patterns.

Why do three times as many people die in USA states run by Democrats than Republicans?

Chronovirus.   Life or death depends on which USA state you live in ?  That’s what the  ‘data’ suggest.

So  what does it matter if  you live in a a  ‘red’ Republican USA state compared with  a ‘blue’ Democrat state?   Data suggests that where you live will affect whether you live or die from the chronovirus.

You are three times more likely to die from chronovirus if you live in a USA state run by Democrats than if you live in a USA state run by Republicans.  That is what the data say.  Why?

Do what we need to do — shelter in place for weeks as Gov. Newsom says?

Gov. Newsom says it will be weeks before he modifies CA’s mandatory stay-at-home order.   Government has to do “what we need to do” before relaxing the order. says Newsom.

That’s an awfully nebulous  standard for a CA  Gov.  to use to make decisions that affect 40 million citizens.

Some entities   have pushed back. Police chiefs in Modoc and Humboldt  Counties refuse to enforce CA  Gov. Newsom’s order to close beaches.

Trinity Covenant Church  in Aptos, CA    starts real services  Sunday,May 3 – including celebration of  the Body and Blood of Christ  – in their parking lot instead of their auditorium    Church elders  talked   through issues with  local government officials about their decision.

What do we really  need to do right now?     In my view, we need to  grow  the  economy and socialize  as a society as we largely did.

Remember: The overwhelming evidence   suggests   that the people most susceptible to the virus are the elderly with preexisting medical conditions.   So why target everyone else for confinement?   Because “we need to do it” says Gov. Newsom.

Gov. Newsom’s policy to continue sheltering in place for many more weeks  harms  40 million people in CA.  His policy promotes dependence on government.     Does  Newsom  want more people fleeing CA for a place in some state  where they can have a business rather than rely on welfare?  Over 1/3 of all persons on welfare already reside in CA.   Roughly 13.3% of CA residents live in poverty.

And, why did  CA Gov.  Newsom buy all those masks from China  –whose politicians exported chronovirus to 192 countries?

People have the right to petition their government  for redress of grievances — on the beach and in the public square. The “experts” were and are wrong about number of supposed deaths in USA (2 million was estimate originally). Businesses have seen their livlihoods  collapse as  their income turn to zero.

CA hospitals are relatively empty and the back up places for additional hospital care are being put to other uses in Santa Cruz, CA.  Across the USA hospitals are closing  and   going broke as they have not been able to do elective surguries and their beds are largely empty.

It’s time now  that the  health care “experts” (Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx)   took a back seat to “what to do now” to open up the economy and let people lead lives as close to normal as possible.

Veterans Day gun salute at U of Virginia cancelled: gun violence concerns

Oh spare me the violence of a 21 gun salute ….

The University of Virginia canceled the 21-gun salute portion of its annual Veterans Day ceremony – citing gun violence.

James Ryan, the university’s president, posted a statement on Facebook explaining that there were concerns about firing weapons on school property in light of recent school shootings.

He said there were two specific reasons.

“First, to minimize disruptions to classes, given that this event is located at the juncture of four primary academic buildings and is held at a time that classes are in session; and second, recognizing concerns related to firing weapons on the Grounds in light of gun violence that has happened across our nation, especially on school and university campuses,” the president wrote.

Annrae Angel or Ari Symons for Santa Cruz judge in 2020?

Annrae Angel says why she — not Ari  Symons — should get your vote for  Santa Cruz County Superior Court Judge in 2020 elections.  Egregious conduct by  judge Symons running a red light    is the issue,  says Angel.

Attorney Annrae Angel  spoke  10/30/19 at the  monthly meeting of  Santa Cruz Repbulicans.

Read  “the facts” of  the Symons case  as  gathered by the CA state    government Commission on Judicial Performance.    The Commission  meets  behind closed doors  and  allows  no questioning of “the facts”  before reaching their “conclusions”. Closed door proceedings without input raise multiple  red flags for me.

Should you,   as I do,  think this Commission has overstepped it bounds, tell them what you think. See the form which you can fill out complaining about a judge.    How to complain to the government entity which appears to target people wrongly?  Petition your government.

Ari Symons said that  she  ran the red light. Think  of the Simon game  many people have played.

Ari Symons clicked the Red and  played  the game straight.    ‘I did it!’ she told people immediately.   Symons   told co-workers  the truth.  She ran the red.

When someone says repeatedly that they did it, that they ran the red light and that the  moving vehicle  violation ticket is their –how can that be a viewed  by the  watch dog  government entity  as a  ‘cover up’ or considered  ‘egregious behavior’?

Rather, overall this appears to be  the Democrats  in Sacramento targeting an individual.   Perhaps it would be better if CA was not run by the Democrats?

Per the “facts” as stated  by the Commission, Ari Symons told  co-workers that  she  ran a red light   that morning.   Some time  later Symons  wrote  letters saying she was the one who ran the red light. Later, things got   muddled between spouse Michael and wife Ari. Not every spouse does what the other spouse wants, correct?  So says Symons concerning overall handling of the red ticket.       Ari Symons   made mistakes how the matter was handled.   Symons   has admitted her mistakes.

Aptos Psychologist:   These facts and the others listed by the Commission for Judicial Performance    don’t add up to “egregious conduct” by  Ari  Symons.

And,  the CA state  government should not get away with wrongful behavior.    Come on, government Commission for Judicial Performance   Do  better! Or disband, re-group,  and  re-fresh your standards.  Don’t target individuals.  Play the game straight.

This entity. the  Commission on Judicial Performance,  meets  in San Francisco Dec. 4-5, 2019 and Jan 29-30, 2020.  Phone:   415 557-1200  FAX 415 557-1266 Three members   of the Commission — Nishimura, Capozzi and Torres — can be replaced immediately as they have exceeded the number of years they can serve.

Tell our state  government   to add new members to the Commission on Judicial Performance  who will act honestly and with integrity.  Make sense?

Don’t “illgal alien” me, at least in NY [$250 K fine]

People who sneak in the USA  or jump the fence.?  What do you call them?  Illegal aliens? Watch out!

You can get a $250 K fine in New York using term ‘illegal alien’  — which is the legal term. Oh my!

The federal government of the United States refers to those who are in the country illegally as “illegal aliens” — at least four times in the statute books.

Section 1252(c) of the “Aliens and Nationality” laws is titled: “Authorizing State and local law enforcement officials to arrest and detain certain illegal aliens.” The section authorizes state and local law enforcement officials “to arrest and detain an individual who— (1) is an alien illegally present in the United States; and (2) has previously been convicted of a felony in the United States and deported or left the United States after such conviction.”

But in OZ:The city of New York’s Commission on Human Rights has decided that illegal aliens need more protection from the law than American citizens. So they passed an ordinance that not only makes it illegal to threaten to call immigration authorities on a suspected illegal, but you could be fined $250,000 just for saying “illegal alien.”

This is not The Onion.

You can call an American anything you want — any vile, vulgar, obscenity in the book — and not be punished for it. This ordinance would seem to grant extraordinary protections to those in the United States illegally.

Recall Santa Cruz City Councilmen Glover & Krohn? Remember Ross Encampment?

Recall  Santa Cruz City Councilmen  Glover & Krohn?  Remember the Ross encampment?    Remember the sight of hundreds of tents for many weeks located  at the  entrance to Santa Cruz?

Later, after they had to leave, remember the thousands of needles and tons of garbage that were  cleaned up?

Remember what thousands of drivers  saw week after week when  passing  by the  intersection of Highway #1 and Highway #9.

Remember.   Then consider  signing  the petition to remove both Krohn and Glover  from the Santa Cruz City Council.

For move information go to Santa Cruz United’s Research  list of articles and videos.

Will Democrats ‘go for impeachment’ over this phone call?

Will  Democrats ‘go for impeachment’ ?   All over a phone call in which President Trump asks about an  entity — Crowdstrike — which examined the DNC server and  Trump asks about   interference in the 2016 elections.

Did the Democrats do what they accuse Trump of doing?

Public Safety better or worse 2019 in Santa Cruz & Watsonville CA ?

Is public safety better or worse in Santa Cruz County in 2019?  The Democrats control awnings and signs  — but what about violent crime, needles and other health issues?

Is public safety better or worse  2019  in Santa Cruz County?

What’s the fall out from years and years of  Democrat Party policies on  Santa Cruz and Watsonville, CA?

Some current 2019  impressions:

  • Kids kill  other  kids in Watsonville, CA.   Take a look at crime statistics.   Because Watsonville gang members routinely  target younger  kids,  parents keep children  inside their homes. Kids are not allowed to ‘hang  out’ in  their front yards in Watsonville, CA. So parents tell me.
  • North County Santa Cruz CA  frequently  ignores South County Watsonville CA   issues.  Watsonville and Santa Cruz  are two  different worlds   joined by Highway 1.
  • Over 600 kids require  sheltering  on any given day  throughout Santa Cruz County. So says an employee of the Salvation Army shelter in Watsonville.
  • Psychotic adults hang  out  and talk in loud voices to themselves   at the  McDonalds Restaurant    on  Ocean  Street in Santa Cruz.  The Watsonvile McDonalds are much more family centered and much cleaner.
  • Two ‘more than typical’ Progressives city officials  face probable  recall by  8000+ Santa Cruz City voters.  The recall effort states that these two public officials  ignored  numerous   public safety issues  (needles,  human feces and violence) posed by the Ross St encampment.  And other issues.  Click the recall effort link for more information.
  • Mothers & the general  public  routinely watch   for needles and drug related debris  on  l Santa Cruz County  beaches.
  • ‘Free’  Santa Cruz beaches are  far dirtier than the CA County managed beaches which  you pay to enter.
  • Idle adults hang out in droves   near  the Santa Cruz  COSCO, close to the Ribele Family Shelter Building located  at Highway 1 and River St.  It does not ‘feel safe’ to drive near by.
  • Oh, my …… Oh my ….
  • There’s more control by city  government   of  ‘the little things’ — such as can a business have a sign  or an awning?  — than the ‘big picture’ i.e,  how can we work with the community to   reduce    violent crime and improve public safety?
  • Opps!!!     Perhaps it’s time for a change from the Democrats and their   policies?

Talk first before file complaint? So says Councilman Glover

So the other party did not come to Santa Cruz Councilman  Glover to discuss the  issue before filing a complaint?

Does this pass the sniff test?

From the Sentinel:

“For Glover, the substantiated complaint, as described by hired consultant Joe Rose, was that Glover violated the city’s Respectful Workplace Conduct Policy when addressing Meyers Feb. 1 about shared conference room scheduling. According to Rose’s report, the timing of Glover’s “needlessly and unjustifiably antagonistic” response to Meyers’ overstaying her allotted time in a city conference room was “humiliating and embarrassing” to Meyers because it occurred in the presence of “important community partners.”

Glover responded in his Facebook post to the public group SCCCP – Santa Cruz and Central Coast Politics, saying, “the substantiated complaint was “due to a communication issue combined with the mishandling of the conflict by the other party involved as they did not come to speak to me first before filing a complaint.”

To be fair, let’s look at the report filed by consultant Joe Rose.  Let the public read the report for themselves.

So who’s who in the Santa Cruz Sentinel article?    The paper wrongly printed  Santa Cruz Councilman Glover with Krohn’s face and  Councilman Krohn with Glover’s face.

Glover is Afro-American, not Caucasian  as portrayed in the Santa Cruz Sentinel. .  Opps!   Pictures are worth a thousand words.

So here’s an example of “wrong news” by our local paper.
