Green waste remains  on your property as your waste unless you …. follow the rules. The Santa Cruz County company,   Greenwaste Recovery Inc,  says: You must put your “green” yard debris  into GREEN bio-degradable bags — not plastic bags — and those green biodegradable bags must weigh less than 50 pounds.  Those are the garbage company’s rules. For a mere $4.00 per bag Greenwaste will take plastic bags as “garbage”. Does the garbage company supply the appropriate bags? No – you buy them. Ace Hardware in the Rancho del Mar shopping center in Aptos carries 5 bags for $3.49 that hold 30 gallon and are for composting. These are heavy duty paper bags. Looking on the internet for bio-degradable bags ….. Where does Santa Cruz county green waste go? Elsewhere!   written by Cameron Jackson

Mulling over Mueller’s conflict of interests
 Mueller’s conflicts of interest.
Conservative media has taken a new tack against Mueller in recent weeks, zeroing in on the sale of Canadian mining company Uranium One to the Russia state-owned nuclear firm Rosatom.
Uranium One, at the time of the deal, held licenses for about 20 percent of America’s uranium production capacity. The sale was approved by nine members on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) in 2010, while President Obama was in office. Mueller was the director of the FBI at the time.
But reporting by The Hill has shown that the FBI had knowledge of bribery and racketeering schemes at Tenex, a subsidiary of Rosatom, before CFIUS approved the deal.
Republican lawmakers critical of the deal have questioned whether the FBI shared that information with other members of CFIUS before it was approved — an aspect of the controversy that conservative media has seized upon.
“Robert Mueller, I hope you’re watching, you need to testify under oath,†Fox News host Sean Hannity said earlier this month. “Back in 2009, he was the FBI director, this was when the bureau, the FBI so clearly had this information. He has conflicts of interest. There is no way the American people can trust Robert Mueller to investigate anything Russia-related. For him to be fair and impartial is impossible because of his past role in this. He should resign immediately, tonight.â€

Comments:  What “crime” was committed and therefore Mueller investigates?  No crime has been stated. Clearly there were and are on-going attempts of Russia and other countries to interfere in American affairs. The General who lied did so during transition – not during the campaign. So we should we impeach Trump …. what the mainstream media and “the deep state” want …. because Trump fired FBI Comey who “knew” the General lied?

Firenze Sage: Cops feared Antifa, not Nazis in Charlottesville riots
ANTIFA fears: A new bombshell independent report. The report highlights the failures of the Charlottesville Police Department during the white nationalist “Unite the Right†rally in August 2017. The report claims that law enforcement on the scene feared direct attacks from far-left extremists — from ANTIFA – and that this may have even led to their refusal to intervene in the chaotic riot.
The report was drafted by a former U.S. attorney hired by the city of Charlottesville, Va., Timothy Heapy, through his law firm.
According to the report, the authors “spoke to multiple officers at all levels who expressed concern that normal arrest procedures would put officers in harm’s way.
In the week before August 12, the Virginia Fusion Center shared credible threats that members of Antifa would bring soda cans filled with cement and might attack police. Then, on the morning of August 12, rumors circulated among CPD that Antifa might attack officers with fentanyl.
The apparent threat of violence against police from Antifa reportedly led officers to avoid direct confrontation in the ensuing melee.
For example, “Lieutenant Brian O’Donnell, commander of Zone 3 (1stStreet) instructed his officers to avoid engaging attendees over ‘every little thing.’â€
Furthermore, “Sergeant Robert Haney described the instructions he received as ‘do not interrupt mutual combat’ unless someone is seriously injured,†the report alleges.
The report noted Lieutenant McKean “told [the authors of the report] that he was ‘not sending guys out there and getting them hurt.’
The report concludes that the police strategy was therefore to “rather than engage the crowd and prevent fights, the CPD plan was to declare the event  unlawful and disperse the crowd.
The Antifa movement is a conglomeration of autonomous, self-styled anti-fascist groups in the United States.[2][3][4] The principal feature of antifa groups is their opposition to fascism through the use of direct action.[5] They engage in militant protest tactics, which has included property damage and physical violence.[2][6][7][8] They tend to be anti-government and anti-capitalist[9] and they are predominantly far-left and militant left,[10][5] which includes anarchists, communists and socialists.[11][12][13][14] Their stated focus is on fighting far-right and white supremacist ideologies directly, rather than on encouraging pro-left policy.[5]

My lips are sealed forever – hopes former IRS Lois Lerner

Will the public ever know what former IRS Lois Lerner knows about targeting conservative groups applying for non-profit status?
Lerner wants the courts to make it impossible for the public to know.
The public has already forked out $3.5 MILLION for Ms. Lerner’s actions. The public has a right to hear how she justified what she did at the IRS. Â

Invite a cockroach for dinner? At veterans hospital …
Swat those cockroach! A veterans hospital in Miami, Florida, was so filthy it required a deep clean and fumigation after the area failed an October safety and sanitation inspection.
The inspection report, obtained by the Miami Herald, found evidence of “grimy drawers and storage racks,†“unrefrigerated foods†and even “insects and rodent droppings.â€
The report provided the cafeteria with a number of scores on their following of health and safety regulations, with the establishment scoring zero points on a number of key issues such as the sanitation of storage equipment, keeping walls, floors, and cooking equipment clean, as well as ensuring the employees were not at risk of falling over due to slippery floors.
“There are now no reported issues involving the canteen kitchen,†said hospital spokesperson Shane Suzuki on Thursday. “Out of an abundance of caution … we conducted a thorough extermination, deep clean and re-inspection of the entire canteen.â€
Suzuki added that the food of hospital patients were not affected by the unsanitary conditions because their meals are prepared separately from the public cafeteria, known as the Patriot Café.
“We have a completely separate food preparation area for inpatient food service,†he said.
The report’s whistleblower, Scott Davis, who previously testified before Congress over the sub-standard treatment that veterans are receiving, told the Herald that “roaches and food is a consistent thing throughout the VA,†and cited another example of cockroaches being a “persistent presence†at a veterans hospital in Illinois.
According to a report from the Office of the Inspector General on the Illinois facility, authorities were aware that patients were receiving meals containing cockroaches but did not attempt to solve the problem.
In recent years, VA hospitals have been plagued by numerous cases of appalling treatment, which include patients being infected with diseases such as Hepatitis and HIV due to lack of infection control, dead bodies being left unattended for multiple hours, and hundreds of veterans dying on long waiting lists for the necessary care they had requested.
During his presidential campaign, President Donald Trump pledged to fix the wait times and overall problems surrounding the Veterans Affairs and drew up a ten-point plan to reform the department as a whole. In his first White House budget, Trump signed a ten percent increase in spending for the department.

San Francisco sanctuary city verdict, no Democrats support tax reform & Flynn found guilty of lies … Consequences?
Day of reckoning for sanctuary cities, tax reform and General Flynn’s lies to the F.B.I.?Â
Sanctuary Cities: With San Francisco’s not guilty verdict for Kate Steinle’s shooter — an illegal alien felon who was deported five times to Mexico — San Francisco’s sanctuary city laws continue to protect illegals from federal immigration,  I.C.E. And the consequences likely to be?  Probably more public outcry to protect the safety of U.S. citizens and more support to build a Wall.
Tax cuts for the middle class:  No Democrats — House or Senate – support tax cuts for the middle class in 2017. Wow! What a change from the last time tax cuts were on the table. The last time — 16 years ago – there was major tax reform only 31 Democrats voted against tax cuts in the Senate and in the House 28 Democrats supported the bill including California. And what might be the long term consequences for this epic policy and political blunder by the Democrat Party? When the average voter has more money in their pocket book and the economy offers higher wages, voters will remember. The middle class has been leaving CA because of high taxes and high rents. Maybe the Democrat progressives will ‘face the music’ in next year’s elections. Especially if more sexual predators are identified in the Democrat controlled legislature?
Lies to the F.B.I.:  And General Flynn — that NSA adviser who Obama ‘unmasked’ now found guilty because e he lied to the FBI.  Flynn served as NSA adviser for about one month and was fired by Trump because he lied to his boss, Vice President Pence. Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner told Flynn to make the call concerning which he later lied to the F.B.I. Reports suggest that Kushner’s influence is waning fast.Â

Not guilty in death of Kate Steinle – they weighed all the evidence.

Yes he’s guilty of possession of a firearm. No he’s not guilty of killing Kate Steinle.  Hard to believe. That’s the verdict. The jury weighed all the evidence.
The bottom line: In San Francisco, an undocumented immigrant with Garcia Zarate’s exact criminal history can still be released from jail to the streets without a call to alert Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.)
San Francisco (CNN)[Breaking news update, posted at 7:43 p.m. ET]
The jury has reached a verdict in the trial of Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, a Mexican citizen and undocumented immigrant charged in the 2015 killing of Kate Steinle in San Francisco. The case became a political lightning rod in the debate over immigration policy.
Zarate, of Mexico, had been deported several times and has previous convictions for re-entry after deportation. Before the killing, he had been released from a San Francisco jail after a minor drug charge was dismissed. While U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had issued a detainer for Zarate, he was released under the city’s sanctuary laws.
Zarate had claimed he found the gun used in the shooting wrapped in a T-shirt under a bench and that it went off accidentally, The Associated Press reported.
“We’re just shocked — saddened and shocked … that’s about it,†Jim said “There’s no other way you can coin it. Justice was rendered, but it was not served.â€
Brad said he was “not surprised,†considering the “epic failure†that led Garcia Zarate to be released on the streets, and end up with a loaded handgun on the pier that day.
“I’m stunned that they couldn’t even get him on using the weapon,†Brad said.
“The Steinles have a decidedly nuanced view on sanctuary cities. They support the concept as a way to encourage immigrants, regardless of legal status, to come forward as victims or witnesses to crimes without fear of deportation. Yet they believe San Francisco went too far when then-Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi effectively ordered his department to cut off communication with federal immigration authorities.
They also expressed frustration at the sanctimony and stubbornness of San Francisco politicians. In response to the outrage over Kate’s killing, the city modified its sanctuary policy only slightly, allowing notification of federal immigration authorities only when a person convicted of certain violent crimes is about to be released.
The bottom line: An undocumented immigrant with Garcia Zarate’s exact criminal history still could be released from jail to the streets without a call to alert Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
