On September 16, popular TV persona Wael El-Ibrashi hosted Dr. Zaghlul al-Naggar, a prominent Islamic thinker and Chairman of Egypt’s Committee of Scientific Notions in the Quran, on the topic of medical science and Islam.
Inevitably the idea of drinking camel urine as a form of therapy—first proposed in the 7th century by Muslim prophet Muhammad—came up.
Not only did Dr. Naggar promote this practice, but he made the staggering announcement that right now in Egypt a medical center in Marsa Matrouh actually specializes in treating people with camel urine, all in accord with the prophet’s advice.

Everybody relieves themselves of feces and urine. What to do in San Francisco and no bathroom?
When work crews pulled open a broken BART escalator at San Francisco’s Civic Center Station last month, they found so much human excrement in its works they had to call a hazardous-materials team.
While the sheer volume of human waste was surprising, its presence was not.
Once the stations close, the bottom of BART station stairwells in downtown San Francisco are often a prime location for homeless people to camp for the night or find a private place to relieve themselves. Five of nine BART escalators shut down are in downtown San Francisco. Person in charge is BART Chief of Police Rainey (510) 464-7022 krainey@bart.gov  Solutions to human feces in BART stations?
Made illegal by CA law, one restaurant in San Francisco located on federal law questions legality of state law.
Experts can’t agree on whether a restaurant located on federal land in California can legally subvert a new state law banning the sale of foie gras.
Evan Lee, a professor at UC Hastings College of Law who specializes in constitutional and criminal law, said there is nothing simple about federal exemption in the case of foie gras.
“So far, there is nothing I can find that makes it explicit,” he said.
“There’s no doubt there is something magical about being on federal land. But you still need Congress to sprinkle its fairy dust.

Thank you professor, but do you really think you should be paid for this explication?  Of course you do. You’re  a lawyer.Â

In San Francisco a restaurant that served foie gras after the CA law:
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.’s mother, Jacqueline Jackson, told a Rainbow/PUSH conference Friday that her son has suffered years of “enormous disappointment.”
“I’m not ashamed to say … he thought he was going to be a senator. He thought he was going to have a chance to run for mayor. And young people don’t bounce back from disappointment like me and my husband,” she said.
In the wake of this bizarre excuse for her son’s behavior, Mrs. Jackson has claimed that she was “tricked” into speaking out at the luncheon. The luncheon was organized by her husband’s own organization.

A new excuse for foot in mouth–“I was tricked”. But then, so were the voters.Â
Monterey Bay Forum:  The main stream ABC story listed above about Jesse Jackson, Jr. having a “mood disorder” cites a possible genetic predisposition per opinion of Dr. Harold G. Koenig with Duke University Medical Center.Â
Ah, another highly educated MD at a prestigious medical school dabbling in long distance medical diagnosis. Do you feel in good hands with diagnosis from afar? I don’t.
As to Democrat Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr.’s voting record, he Did Not Vote on the Ryan Budget, The Domestic Engagement and Jobs Act nor on the Conservatism and Economic Growth bill. Why not?  Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. finished theological school so he must think about what’s required of a prophetic voice — which is not silence on important issues such as the Ryan Budget. For straight up information on those who represent us, go to :  http://votesmart.org/candidate/key-votes/72/

Information on this potty app was found on Autism Speaks:
Good news for CA children with symptoms of autism.   Because of SB 946, CA parents  who persist may  get treatment paid by their health insurance. But parents may have to jump through several hoops!
Here’s how: 1)   Ask your health care provider for interventions to reduce symptoms of autism.   2) If you are told that services are not necessary,  ask that your child be assessed.  3) If denied an  assessment, you may appeal the denial. 4) If your health plan denies appeal  –or does not respond in 30 days  –you may request an independent medical review (IMR) from the Department of Managed Health Care in California.
So are you willing to persist? Below are links to help:  Â
Supreme Court Justice Roberts caved. He may go down in history as the Swinging Roberts –   which way does the wind blow? And there went Roberts … Yes, ideology does matter.
Obama-Care is a valid TAX says the Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision.  Congress  legally passed  the Obama-Care TAX.  So, remember the power of the purse. Congress can repeal the Obama-Care TAX.
So, now it’s up to conservatives, independents and free thinkers to organize and defeat the Obama-Care TAXÂ at the ballot box in November, 2012.
What all of us can do:
Say a daily prayer for the Nation to survive as the kind of nation it was when a group of patriots first founded the United STATES of America.
This July 4th, take time to read the Declaration of Independence with your family and friends.
Think about what it means to you to be an American:Â what are the freedoms you most cherish and why?
The rule of law is the basis of our freedoms. Obama’s administration uses REGULATIONS to overturn valid laws. As Nancy Pelosi say, you have to pass it to
Think about Obama’s response to the Supreme Court ruling concerning immigration. Arizona can do valid Stops and inquire concerning immigration status. Obama has said that the Justice Department will not answer phone calls from Arizona concerning immigration status. And further, Obama has set up a hot line so that those who are stopped can get through to Obama concerning their civil rights.

People don’t like being told how and what to eat and rebel. The latest from New York and Mayor Bloomberg’s health experiment:
Over at the Atlantic, two economics professors who focus their research on food economics introduce a bit of reality into the equation:
In similar lab settings, this kind of approach has inspired various forms of rebellion among study participants. For example, openly serving someone lowfat or reduced-calorie meals tends to lead to increased fat or calorie consumption over the whole day. People reason that because they were forced to be good for one meal, they can splurge on snacks and desserts at later meals.
Referring to the 2008 law that mandated the posting of calorie counts in the city’s chain restaurants. When researchers studied the law’s effect, they “found that people had, in fact, ordered slightly more calories than the typical customer had before the labeling law went into effect.”
_______________
So just keep forcing free people to do what they do not want to do. Soon you have rebellion or no free people.
