Recall CA Gov. Gavin Newsom? Why & What you can do ….? Wake up Santa Cruz County & every CA citizen

Why recall  now   CA Gov. Gavin Newsom?

Think about  our CA children:     Gov. Newsom closed all  schools.

Children need schools for social reasons, to learn from real human beings in one-to-one interactions, and to feel good about themselves.

Suicide rates among  middle school and older children are rising.  Kids are killing themselves because of Gov. Newsom.   He   closed  all  schools & caved to teachers’ unions’ demands.  CA  teacher unions seek  to de-fund the police, a  moratorium on all  charter schools or voucher programs and no more standardized testing.    Newsom’s actions  by supporting the demands of teachers’ unions harms every student in CA.

Think about safety:  Newsom loosed 180,000+ violent felons back into  local  CA coumunities.

And Newsom apologized to the felons for locking them up.  What’s happening to safety of our local communities?

Think  about the idiocy of Newsom’s “essential services”:  Pot shops are open.  Churches must stay closed.

Think about jobs:    Most of the CA  economy remains  shut-down. Gavin Newsom did it a second time!    Newsom  again shut down the economy of CA which was 5th largest in the world before pandemic.  Lockdowns don’t work.  Look at Europe which has re-opened and some European countries did not close.

Think  1st Amendment encroachments:   your right to speak your mind, freely assemble, congregate at a church and on the beach.

So, what can you do  about California  Gov. Gavin  Newsom?   Recall him!   Download a petition, get neighbors to sign it and MAIL it in.

You can help recall Newsom.  Spread the word about RecallGavin2020.com  Download Petition/ Instructions at RecallGavin2020.com   Mail Petitions to California PatriotCoalition  PO BOX 417030 Sacramento CA 95841.

Invite a Muslim to church? Less female genital mutilation? More apostasy? Islamic women’s lives matter

Muslim women’s sex lives matter just as much as Black Lives Matter and all lives matter.

Eliminating the Islamic  practice  female genital mutilation  will improve Muslim women’s sex lives.  One thing U.S. Christians can do is invite a Muslim family to church.  Maybe the family  will come back and choose to identify Christian.

Of the 3.5 MILLION Muslims in the U.S. about 100,000 abandon Islam each year.   More than half  of Muslims living in the U.S. abandon religion entirely and 22% now identify as Christian.

Ex-Muslims living in the west spread savvy messages, denounce Islam and help atheists flee to the West says Daniel Pipes in WSJ article When Muslims Leave the Faith.

Got Covid-19 symptoms? Quick! Get hydroxychloroquine & up-to-date medical advise

To prevent Covid-19, you must take care of yourself.   Ignore Dr. Fauci’s advise and read up on the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloriquine.

Should you get Covid-19 symptoms, consider taking  the   anti-malaria drug President Trump takes as a preventative measure:  Hydroxychloroquine .  Of course, get appropriate, up-to-date medical advise based on latest findings. Contact your doctor and get a prescription.   Taken early, the drug often prevents hospitalization and less severity of symptoms.

The drug is available from CanadaPharmacyOnline.com     You need a prescription.  The process is easy to do and takes a few minutes to set up an account and place an order.  Then have your doctor FAX or Email the appropriate prescription.   They ask that you send your bank account routing number and account number to them to verify that they are correct.   The  FAX number  for Canada Pharmacy Online  is 866 930 3784.

The following from Real Clear Politics:

Easy and cheap:   ” Hydroxychloroquine costs 60 cents a tablet, it can be taken at home, and a course of therapy simply requires swallowing three tablets in the first 24 hours followed by one tablet every 12 hours for five days.

It works:    “There are now 53 studies that show positive results of hydroxychloroquine in COVID infections. There are 14 global studies that show neutral or negative results — and 10 of them were of patients in very late stages of COVID-19, where no antiviral drug can be expected to have much effect. Of the remaining four studies, two come from the same University of Minnesota author. The other two are from the faulty Brazil paper, which should be retracted, and the fake Lancet paper, which was.

“Millions of people are taking or have taken hydroxychloroquine in nations that have managed to get their national pandemic under some degree of control.

“Two recent, large, early-use clinical trials have been conducted by the Henry Ford Health System and at Mount Sinai showing a 51% and 47% lower mortality, respectively, in hospitalized patients given hydroxychloroquine. A recent study from Spain published on July 29, two days before Margaret Sullivan’s strafing of “fringe doctors,” shows a 66% reduction in COVID mortality in patients taking hydroxychloroquine. No serious side effects were reported in these studies and no epidemic of heartbeat abnormalities.

“This is ground-shaking news. Why is it not being widely reported?

“Why is the American media trying to run the U.S. pandemic response with its own misinformation?

Aptos Psychologist:   Since mainstream media is joined at the hip with the Democrat Party — and  both show Trump derangement  syndrome  — the mainstream media reports only what it thinks will show Trump in a bad light.   Nothing new!.    What say you?

Citizen outcry against lock down, mask wearing, fines in Santa Cruz County

Citizens  assembled and spoke against the lock down, against wearing masks and  why they dislike possible   fines for not wearing masks.   The Board of Supervisors in Santa Cruz County CA listened.

‘No masks!   Don’t criminalize people! Put masks on the  criminals  Gov. Newsom let out  of prison &  return  those criminals  to prison’ !

‘That cheap anti-malaria drug  hydroxycloroquine  works fine!’   ‘Masks keep people   from breathing properly!’

Such were some of the comments by residents of Santa Cruz County to the Board of Supervisors.

Live-streamed  on the  Santa Cruz Board of Supervisor’s Facebook page,   some  8-10  persons spoke  strongly 8/4/2020  in opposition to requirements to wear face masks and fines for not wearing them.  Click HERE to access live stream for Santa Cruz County CA Board of Supervisors.

A few more quotes from people speaking to Santa Cruz County’s Board of Supervisors 8/4/2020:

An older man said:   There’s no peer review double blind studies done that support wearing masks.    Anthony Fauci  MD originally said not to wear masks.  The Surgical General wrote 3/31 that masks are detrimental to our health.

‘Various  MDs have lost jobs and had death threats related to use of the anti-malaria drug hydroxycloroquine  in conjunction with zinc and other medications.  Instead of the cheap anti-malaria drug,  MD  Fauci blesses a drug that costs $2K for a five day treatment.     Gov. Newsom  sends money to Santa Cruz County Health Officer to keep us in lockdown!  residents are waking up and voters will not vote for you.’

Another man:  ‘It’s Victory Day!  There’s 34 studies that the anti-malaria drug hydroxycloroquine    is effective and there’s no need for a vaccine.  The MD’s  who support the anti-malaria drug   were taken off Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.  That’s Big Pharmo influence.   The mainstream media has been taken over.’

A young  health professional:    ‘One in five colds are the  virus. You should  talk about taking enough vitamin D.  Persons with darker pigmentation have different vitamin D requirements.      You are beyond nuts!    I’m ashamed of your  attitude:    ‘Give me safety or give me death’ Do you want to live in a bubble?  My deaf aunt who reads lips may have to.  What you’re  doing,   I’m ashamed of all of you. ‘

So what’s  California’s Democrat Gov. Newsom  done about masks? Remember, CA is the 5th largest economy in the world.   And CA is run by Democrats who believe in  globalization.  Hence, it makes ‘Newsonian sense’ that Gov. Newsom bought masks from China from a company that makes electric cars.  What Newsom did not do is get permission from the legislature before he purchased heaps and heaps of face masks.

About masks in CA:   In mid-April,  CA Gov. Newsom bought one million KN95s facemasks  for $5.5 from a Chinese brand that was on the FDA authorized list but was removed the following month and never added back, according to state purchasing records.    The Wall Street Journal,  FDA’s Mask Standards Shift, Sowing Problems  says that California officials didn’t respond to inquiries about what the state has done about ‘the bad masks’.

_________

Aptos Psychologist:   Lots of people don’t trust what government officials put out as ‘must do’ requirements concerning management of Covid-19.

People are right that each individual/ family needs to figure out what makes sense.  Small children –who can’t read lips and need to see facial expressions — don’t do well  developing language and social abilities with parents wearing face masks all the time.

What say you?   Comments welcome!    DrCameronJackson@gmail.com

Going to a rally? Beach? Think twice … use social distancing …

What happened  at a religious rally for Navajos in AZ  held in March 2020  with no social distancing?  The virus spread rapidly.

One story of what’s happening to American Indians:   Instead of 5 minutes to list number of  cases and the dead it took 45 minutes for a radio station to list the dead.

“When a family member dies, we the Diné, whom Spanish conquistadors named the Navajo, send a notice to our local radio station so that everyone in the community can know. Usually the reading of the death notices—the names of those who have passed on, their ages, where they lived and the names of their matrilineal and patrilineal clans—takes no more than five minutes. It used to be very rare to hear about young people dying. But this past week, I listened to 45 minutes of death notices on KGAK Radio AM 1330. The ages ranged from 26 to 89, with most of the dead having been in their 30s, 40s or 50s.e names.

Aptos Psychologist:   In Santa Cruz County, 3 have died, 59 hospitalized, 772 known cases, 321 recovered and 23,000+ tested for Covid-19.

In Santa Cruz County  local health official  Gail Newel said she was not sure whether or not the spike in new Covid-19 cases was connected to the recent political rallies. She is re-opening the local beaches because   “people are not willing to be governed anymore in that regard”.  Children over age two are now required to wear face masks says Newel.

Anyone looking at  Seacliff State Beach lately will notice the lack of social distancing by groups of people hanging out in front of the beach  restrooms as well as large groups of people  using the beach.

And people are leaving their beach  litter behind. On Sat. July 18,  Live Like Coco   sponsored a Seacliff State Beach Cleanup which  removed heaps of trash from the beach.  About 40+ people attended the Live Like Coco clean up.

What to do about Covid-19, looting & other Democrat failures? Vote in Nov.!

‘Hand over the brain.’

Democrat politicians expect you to hand over your brain when thinking about recent lootings, the killing of an unarmed black by a white cop and how to manage Covid-19.   Do you live in a town or city run by Democrats?  Watch out! Think for your self!

What can you do about Covid-19, looting in the streets and Democrat  policy failures?  For sure, vote in November.   In the meanwhile, use your brain to make decisions and do so with courage and a heart that is caring.

Courage. A heart. A brain.  That’s what the lion,  the tin man and  the scarecrow wanted. And those are precisely what  Democrat Party  policies lacks.

New York is a Democrat stronghold.   New York  been a hot spot during the Covid-19 epidemic with a higher death rate than the rest of the U.S.  The actual disparity is absolutely shocking.  As a proportion of the population, the number of excess deaths in New York City during the epidemic has been 16 times as high as in the rest of America.(Wall Street Journal, The Measure of New York’s Covid Devastation, June 3, 2020).

Many  east coast and west coast  cities and states are controlled  by the Democrat parties. Thanks to Democrat progressive policies,   San Francisco on the west coast  is  known as the city of feces and homeless.  That’s Nancy Pelosi’s home  town.

Democrat controlled New York City is   now known as the place where the most die from Covid-19.  That’s where 4,300 Covid-19 patients were transfered  from New York  hospitals to nursing homes.  This exposed the oldest, frailest and most vulnerable to the virus.  (WSJ, The Measure of New York’s Covid Devastation, June 3, 2020).

The Democrat politicians that run cities have bought into the belief that the police are a bigger problem than rampant disorder. Where did that belief come from?  Remember President Obama and his policies towards the police.  Eight years of Obama and his AG Eric Holder have had a huge impact.

In response to the recent killing of a black unarmed man by a white policeman  Eric Holder was asked to day  6/3/2020 in a podcast on Obama’s website, what is your most radical dream?‘ Holder replied,‘that people be judged by their deeds and  not  sterotype people.”

Deeds — let’s judge people based on their deeds says AG Eric Holder.   Blacks make up 13% of the USA population and in 2018 African-Americans and made up  53% of known homocide  offenders in the U.S..  African-Americans  commit about 60%  of  all robberies.

What about who  is killed by  the police?   In 2019, the police fatally shot 9  unarmed blacks and  19 unarmed whites  according to a Washington Post database, down from 38 and 32, respectively in 2015.

So, last year in 2019  twice as many unarmed  whites  were killed compared to  unarmed blacks.  There’s been no outrage or looting because  unarmed white men  died.

In 2018 there were 7,404   black homocide victims.  That’s alot of blacks dying and most of them are killed by another black person  That is the sad, rarely discussed  story than Democrat politicians  do not address.

What about the safety of police officers?   A police officer is 18 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male is to be killed by a police officer.   The above  statistics are from The Myth of Systemic Police Racism, WSJ, June 8, 2020.

California and New York are both run by Democrats. Both states have been slow to re-open from the Covid-19 pandemic.  In Santa Cruz, CA people are still kept off the beaches during th 11-5 hours and people are still “sheltering in place” wearing masks.

What to do?  Use your brain, have a heart and show courage.

A COVID-19 “Kiss” – Keep it simple & help re-open your town

Keep it simple —  here’s some ways that   you  can help  open your CA town or city.

It’s what you do –  and what you tell your government to do — that will get the economy humming again and do so safely.

Rule #1:   Expect zero from the government and  figure out what you can do each and every day to solve  problems related to  management of COVID-19. It’s what you do — not what the government tells you to do — that matters.

Every town is different.  The following is about Santa Cruz CA and their local paper the Santa Cruz Sentinel. Santa Cruz has lots of tourists and a  U.C. facility.

A “take away”  from reading  several stories in the 5/29  Santa Cruz Sentinel:   Local  government bureaucracy grinds on and on  doing little  to re-open the economy.  Local health officials trend along with what state officials say to do.

Put the  three  5/29  Sentinel stories  regarding  COVID-19  together  and you read that Santa Cruz County Public Health Officer  Dr. Gail Newel  is miffed that  Gov Newsom did not do as she expected. “The  governor is not following the cadence that was expected” she says.”  That’s a low whine.  Gail Newel  thinks Santa Cruz has taken “a very thoughtful approach” and now working “fast and furious” to re-open.   Don’t hold your breath, Santa Cruz folks.  This  local public health officer   is part of the ‘too little and too late’ crowd.  More businesses will flounder. There will be more domestic abuse.  And more depressed kids.

One wonders why  Santa Cruz County has such a low death rate from COVID-19. Is it low because of how the health officials count?     Health official  Gail Newel says that the state health statistics which currently  list 3 deaths and not 2  for Santa Cruz County are in error because the third death  had the virus but that person  did not die from the virus.

So when a cluster of elderly living in a Santa Cruz county group home who have diabetes and high blood pressure and obesity die after infected with COVID-19 from a staff person that means those persons did not die from the virus  but rather from their pre-existing conditions and therefore should not be counted in the local  COVID-19 count? Is it the way in which Santa Cruz County health officers  count deaths?  A way  that makes for such a  low count?

How many residents in any Santa Cruz county long term facility have  died since COVID-19 (early Appril) became a serious health problem?  Were any of those persons tested for COVID-19? Since testing is not mandatory  for long term  health facilities / nursing homes and only now, three months into the pandemic, state government suggests that a  testing plan be made …. There is no easy way to know how many have died due to the virus while living in a nursing home.

Look elsewhere how COVID-19 deaths are counted.  All over the USA health departments are counting deaths which include a positive COVID-19 test as a death due to the virus.  But not Santa Cruz County according to health officer Gail Newel.

Rule #2:  Isolation is bad for the soul and hard on people.   We punish people by locking them up — remember that.     Do what’s sensible to stay  mentally healthy.

Take specific actions that put money into other people’s wallets.  Deliberately buy take out to help local restaurants stay afloat.  Go to hardware stores and stock up on items you will need in the future.

Drive around in your car  and smile and say hi and count those ‘contacts’ as part of your social routine.  Remember who and why you smiled at others.   Those smiles break  social isolation. Yours and other people’s. You help others and yourself when you smile.  Not a crocodile smile but a real smile from the soul.

Rule #3: Set a daily schedule for yourself  that includes what we have learned helps manage COVID-19:   Take  your daily temperature before and after your in-home or out-of-home  work.  Yes you should have a daily  “work” routine.  Wash your   hands frequently  with soap and water.  Keep your hands off  your face as COVID -19 gets into your body  via eyes, nose and mouth.  Keep your distance from other people as best makes sense socially.  Masks?  You figure it out.  Just another way to control people, for sure.  They are easily contaminated.  You breath in the CO2 you just exhaled.

Rule #4:  Learn how to advocate for the most vulnerable who are the most likely to get COVID-19 and die from it.  Remember — 40-50% of all COVID-19 deaths occur to elderly persons with pre-existing conditions who are  living in long term  nursing facilities.  Since that is where the bulk of deaths occur it only makes sense to do all that’s possible to ensure that staff are healthy and residents are tested and isolated from others when they test positive.

What you will learn from the news  in the Santa Cruz Sentinel  is that  CA government has done squat — nothing — to ensure the safety of the most vulnerable citizens.  There are no required testing, isolation and contact tracing plan  of all residents and all staff persons.

Learn how to advocate for persons in  your CA town and city.   Those are our veterans, retired folks, farm workers and others  who are cared for by a variety of persons.  Staff   persons   help get the elderly to the toilet,  help feed them and when necessary may  diaper them and  routinely give medicines to them.

Remember two thirds of all Americans take 3+ medicines  on  a daily basis.     These  nursing home staff persons have close physical contact with the vulnerable elderly. And if the staff have symptoms it’s easy to pass along the virus to the residents.

How to  advocate for our most vulnerable that are in group facilities?  Go visit these long term housing facilities.   Call them.  Contact them any way you can.

In the Santa Cruz Sentinel 5/29 had the  following:  The State Department of Public Health issues a letter saying facilities should draft  testing plans for all residents in settings without cases and all residents who have been exposed to the virus. That this Letter  says it would be a good thing …. means that three months into the pandemic our CA  state government and local  government have no standards in place and no ‘blue print’ to offer so testing, isolation and finding others exposed  is routinely done of persons in long term facilities.

One way to reduce the spread of COVID-19 is to require daily temperature  testing of  staff  and that they fill out a brief questionnaire  as to possible symptoms they had during work.    Couple monitoring of staff with   appropriate testing of all residents.

Santa Cruz County has about 10-12 long term care facilities which care for about 1,066 persons. The staff that care for them are not highly paid R.N’s but LVN and others without letters after their name.  They may or may not be trained in how  COVID-19 spreads.  Some may live in crowded living conditions which exist in pockets  throughout Santa Cruz County.  Keeping a close watch on symptoms by staff and residents is crucial to keeping our most vulnerable safe.

Another way to reduce   COVID-19  is to take the needed tests to the  facilities.  That way testing of staff and residents  will be frequent and regular.     A handful of churches in mid-County  currently  fund a truck which provides showers for the homeless.  That’s been going on for a year or so.   What about a  truck that  would go  around to the long term care facilities and brings test kits  to these facilities?

Now is the time to politely ask  your  county  health officer and other government officials  to provide  immediate and regular  testing of all staff and residents of local nursing homes.

As individuals we can do lots to stop COVID-19 in its tracks.  Government can test and should test immediately and regularly those most likely to die from it — the elderly with pre-existing conditions.

What say you? What  do you suggest  that can help re-open your CA town  safely and now?

Half of COVID-19 deaths in CA are in nursing homes directed by Newsom to accept persons testing positive for virus

Govenor Newsom  — like  New York –  moves persons with the coronavirus  into  CA  nursing care facilites.

On March 30th, Governor Newsom’s administration warned skilled nursing facilities that they “shall not refuse to admit or readmit a resident based on their status as a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case.”

“California’s directive is nothing less than a death sentence for countless residents,” warned Patricia McGinnis, executive director of California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform.

Half of California’s deaths, or 1,276, have occurred in nursing homes, though not all are the SNFs that were ordered to accept coronavirus patients.

Whitmer, Cuomo, Wolf, and Newsom have been widely praised by the media, even though their disastrous policies likely led to the deaths of thousands of senior citizens in nursing homes.

There were states that got it right, protecting senior citizens by barring the transfer of coronavirus patients to nursing homes, requiring negative tests before a transfer, and creating separate facilities.

coronavirus killed by drug that treats parasitic infections — invermectin

coronavirus killed by drug used for lice in lab setting

A drug ivermectin  commonly used to treat lice  and widely available  kills  coronavirus in lab setting.  Experts warn, do not self medicate.

April 7, 2020 — An inexpensive drug used to treat parasitic infections killed the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 in less than 48 hours in a laboratory setting, Australian researchers say.
The drug, ivermectin, has been used widely used for decades. It was introduced as a veterinary drug in the 1970s. It is available variously.
Doctors also prescribe it to treat head lice, scabies, and other infections caused by parasites.According to a report published online in the journal Antiviral Research, the drug quickly prevented replication of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The study has been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication, although it is not yet a “definitive” version of record.Researchers infected cells with SARS-CoV-2, then exposed them to ivermectin. “We showed that a single dose of ivermectin could kill COVID-19 in a petri dish within 48 hours, indicating potent antiviral activity,” says study co-author David Jans, PhD, a professor of biochemistry and m0 in Melbourne.Even at 24 hours, “there was a really significant reduction” in the virus, study leader Kylie Wagstaff, PhD, a senior research fellow in biochemistry and molecular biology at Monash University, said in a statement. But experts say more testing is needed to know if it works well in people and if it’s safe to use.

‘No One Should Try to Self-Medicate’

“The main way we think ivermectin works is to target a key molecule of our cells that we think helps the virus to proliferate,” Jans says. “By stopping this, the virus replicates more slowly, and so our immune system has a better chance to mount the antiviral response and kill the virus.” Giving this or any antiviral drug early is thought to give the body the best chance of beating infection, he says.

In other studies, the researchers say, the drug has been shown to work against dengue fever and to limit infections similar to COVID-19, such as the West Nile virus.

The drug is “safe at relatively high doses, widely available, and relatively cheap, too,” Jans says. The next step is more research to find the best dose for fighting COVID-19. Then researchers can begin testing in people, he says. “It is important to stress that no one should try to self-medicate with versions of ivermectin that are for veterinary purposes or head lice.” The only safe way to get ivermectin is by prescription from a doctor, he says.
