Letter in  Wall Street Journal Aug. 9:  “Jason Riley’s “Why Trump Shouldn’t Write Off the Black Vote” (op-ed, Aug. 3) should make Donald Trump’s staffers think how they can effectively communicate the virtues of a growing economy and a better jobs message to black voters. The leaked Democratic National Committee emails give them the perfect talking point.

“Mr. Trump should point out how the Democrats don’t really care about black people, only about their votes.Hillary Clinton wants to keep black Americans reliant on the government so they have no choice but to vote Democratic. Mr. Trump should focus on the battleground states with significant black voters, conveying the message:

“if you want to be free of the government slavery you are now yoked with and enjoy personal dignity experienced through better jobs at fair wages, vote Republican.”

Aptos Psychologist:  Kick that dependency habit all unemployed blacks, whites and whatever color you are.  Start by getting up in the morning  and making your bed.  Then do at least three things that kick dependency on government.  Change your daily habits.   Reach out to others who do have jobs and can point you towards a job.  One way  —  volunteer using what skills you have. Find a local church and spend time there connecting with others.   They can mentor you.

 Qatar said it will  give $30 million to help pay the salaries of thousands of Gaza Strip public sector Hamas workers left without a full wage package since 2013 on Thursday.

According to humanitarian news service IRIN, Qatar alone has pledged $1 billion, the European Union pledged $568 million, the US $212 million, and Turkey and the United Arab Emirates both committed $200 million. But  as of February 2015, only about 5 percent of what had been promised reached Gaza.

The donation  of 30 million by Qatar  was welcomed by Hamas. Hamas is  the Islamist group that dominates the enclave.  Hamas  said it would help ease the wage shortages that have tested already strained relations with the US-backed Palestinian Authority in the West Bank.

The emir of the wealthy Gulf state, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani , said the payment of 113 million riyals was meant to “alleviate suffering and financial distress”, according to Qatar’s state news agency, QNA.

Many  Palestinians believe that Hamas is responsible for the economic and developmental deterioration in Gaza, while others blame Israel and the Palestinian Authority as well as the international community.  One of them (Alyan)  said, “As the party primarily responsible for the Gaza Strip, Hamas is liable for the current situation.” When asked if Israel was responsible because it imposed the blockade, he said, “Before Hamas rule and during Israeli rule, things were not as they are today.”

A reconciliation pact signed in 2014 by the two sides raised hopes among Hamas that its 50,000 public sector employees’ wages would be taken care of via the Palestinian Authority (PA) payroll.

8,000 Syrians can stay indefinitely – no matter what their legal status says Homeland Security

 

Homeland Security granted a new temporary amnesty Monday to more than 8,000 Syrians living in the U.S. right now.

Homeland Security  says that these 8,000 can remain for up to 18 months longer —  no matter what their legal status.

Secretary Jeh Johnson issued the  “temporary protected status” to these  Syrians. Johnson said  that if the Syrians re in the U.S. as of Monday — and continue to reside here permanently — these 8,000  can apply for work permits and other documents.  Further,  they can   remain and live in the U.S. without fear of being ousted.

Homeland Security’s  order applies to some 5,800 Syrians who were granted status under a 2012 TPS program, and also to  2,500 new arrivals who don’t have a more permanent status here.

Those eligible for TPS include any Syrian illegal immigrants who have managed to sneak into or remain in the U.S. beyond their visa expirations over the past four years.

Interestingly, the  Left wing ignores story of millions from Russian government fund given to Hilary’s campaign chairman Podesta’s firm.  That’s ho hum says New York Times and others.

The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, and the Daily Mail,among other news outlets, published stories based on research from Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large and Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President Peter Schweizer.  

The research  revealed  that Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta’s firm Joule Unlimited received millions from a Putin-connected Russian government fund.   

And despite the GAI report’s wide-ranging news coverage, missing from the pack were left-wing press shops. Among the news outlets not covering the story about  money from Russia to Hilary’s campaign chairman are:   the New York Times, CNN, NBC, CBS, Washington Post, LA Times, POLITICO.

Not a single one has covered the bombshell revelation or reported asking Podesta for a comment on his involvement in Joule Unlimited.

Facebook covers the story:  This media blackout persists, oddly, after “John Podesta” catapulted to the top of Facebook North America’s treading topics list on Monday, thanks to Schweizer’s new Russia revelations.

It’s obvious that these mainstream media firms — namely, CNN, NYT, and POLITICO — have no problem covering Trump-Putin stories. They’ve done so, repeatedly, over several news cycles.

GEMS Education company’s finances strictly adhere to “Sharia Finance,”.  Sharia finance  includes giving “zakat,” a religious tax of which one-eighth of the proceeds is dedicated to funding Islamic jihad.

Love thy neighbor farmer.  By not spraying the old version of dicamba on your fields.  The old stuff drifts.  Your neighbors crops die.  Not neighborly.

Farmers in southern U.S. states have long battled weeds and destructive bugs.  This year farmers  face a new threat: their neighbors.

Farmers  say some neighbor  growers are illegally spraying a powerful herbicide that is damaging hundreds of thousands of crop acres in Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee.  And, this is a  trend that regulators, farmers and academics link to Monsanto Co.’s introduction this year of a new variety of genetically modified soybean.

Where things went wrong occurred when Monsanto sold farmers new seeds without providing an updated version of the herbicide dicamba that is designed to not drift.  Monsanto — innovative and speedy — were too fast on the draw.

Neighboring farmers spray the old form of Monsanto’s herbicide dicamba and — unfortunately — the herbicide drifts over to land using the new biotech soybeans which die when they get a whiff of the herbicide.

The EPA says its investigating dicamba misuse and crop damage and its findings would “inform”its final decision on approving Monsanto’s new version of the herbicide.

In addition to being Gold Star parents, the Khans are financially and legally tied deeply to the industry of Muslim migration–and to the government of Saudi Arabia —  and to the Clintons themselves.

Khan’s old law firm — where Khan worked for many  years —  is  the mega-D.C. firm Hogan Lovells LLP.

Khan’s  old  law firm, Hogan Lowells LLP,   did Hillary Clinton’s taxes all the way back to 2004.  Khan was still  working there while Hilary Clinton’s taxes were done by Homan Lowells LLP.    That information is  — was  — available on Khan’s own website.

Khizr Khan, the Muslim Gold Star father that Democrats and their allies media wide have been using to hammer GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump, has deleted his law firm’s website from the Internet.

This development is significant, as his website proved—as Breitbart News and others have reported—that he financially benefits from unfettered pay-to-play Muslim migration into America.

Khan’s old law firm, Hogan Lovells,   also has represented, for years, the government of Saudi Arabia in the United States. Saudi Arabia, of course, is a Clinton Foundation donor which—along with the mega-bundlers of thousands upon thousands in political donations to both of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaigns in 2008 and 2016—plays right into the “Clinton Cash” narrative.

All of this information was publicly available, and accessible to anyone—including any of these reporters, and Breitbart News—with a basic Google search.

Anyone interested in doing research about the subjects they are reporting on—otherwise known as responsible journalism—would have checked into these matters. But clearly, none in the mainstream media did—probably because, as Fox News’ Chad Pergram noted, Democrats “sense blood in the water over” the whole Khan controversy.

The bill is  supported by  the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).The bill was  proposed by Assemblyman Bill Quirk (D-Hayward).    CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial, and has been declared a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates.

After the San Bernardino terror attack in December last year, CAIR offered assistance to the terrorists’ family, and suggested U.S. policy was partly to blame.

The bill complains of “harassment, assault, and discrimination” that Muslim-Americans have been “forced to endure” since 9/11. It makes no mention of harassment, assault and discrimination by Muslims against others — such as the Muslims who jeered “Allahu Akbar” at Jewish students at the University of California Davis last year, or those who have driven a wave of antisemitic discrimination throughout the California university system as part of an anti-Israel campaign.

Can this type of prayer heal Parkinson’s disease?

My wife Carolyn, who is older than I am (I’ll be 74 in August) was showing strange symptoms for some time. Her hands would tremble, she had daytime sleepiness, poor balance and several other symptoms.

She did not go to the doctor, as she has always been reluctant to go to doctors unless absolutely necessary. So she lived with the symptoms and wrote them off as “normal aging.”  But last week she heard a presentation on Parkinson’s from the web, and decided “Oh, this is what I probably have.”  She mentioned that to me, and she began doing some of the dietary things the web doctor suggested, as in not eating breakfast before 10:00 am, nor eating dinner later than 6:00 pm. In other words, a half day fast.

I did a quick search on the web which basically said there was no cure for the disease, and the symptoms gradually become worse. The cause was not definitely known, but it seemed to be related to a part of the brain called the “substancia negra” which means “dark substance.” This is a section which lies between both hemispheres of the bran toward the back. This area of the brain produces the dopamine necessary for the normal function of the nervous system, and brains afflicted with Parkinson’s produce less dopamine than normal.

Whit that information, and with my experience in command prayer (learned from the classic work on this by Charles and Francis Hunter, How to Heal the Sick, I began praying for Carolyn in this way. I placed one hand on the back of her head, and another under her chin near the neck. This way the healing energies of God, which are in some ways similar to electricity, could easily flow into the “substancia negra.”

I simultaneously prayed in this manner:

In Jesus’ name, I speak to the subsancia negraand command it to be healed. I command it, in Jesus’ name to be restored and rejuvenated to full health and full function. I command that dopamine be produced in normal quantities so that the nervous system be healed and perfectly well. I command all this in Jesus’ name

The next morning Carolyn found that she was substantially healed. The hand tremors had ceased completely. She was till a bit unsteady, but also better in this regard.

Now, one case does not mean universal healing is at hand.  But this is very interesting and easy to replicate. I would like those of you who read this post to try this type of prayer and see if you get similar positive results. Please describe you results after several days of this type of prayer, and add your comment to the comment section of the blog. Good results? No results? We need to see if this generally effective.
